PEG holds records about children. That changes how it's built.
Safety on PEG isn't a policy page — it's structural. Here is exactly what is in place, and exactly what isn't.
Private by default
Records are visible only to the young person and their guardians. There are no public profiles, feeds or followers.
Parents govern minors' records
Children under 14 are added by a parent. Teens 14+ can join themselves and invite guardians in.
Exact-version approvals
A guardian approves each specific photo, document and caption. Any change creates a new version that needs approval again.
No exact addresses
PEG never shows a home address. Locations are kept to an approximate area.
No open messaging
No direct messages, comments or friend requests. Nobody can contact your child through PEG.
Sharing stays off
External sharing stays disabled until approved, unchangeable snapshots are in place.
Being straight with you
What PEG does not do.
PEG does not run criminal background checks, and we won't imply otherwise. Identity verification confirms that a person is who they say they are — it is not a screening service.
PEG does not rank, score or compare young people. There are no streaks, leaderboards or public metrics.
PEG does not sell or publish personal information. Exact addresses are never shown, and nothing leaves your family's record without a guardian's approval.
